מתניתא בשפסק במעמדה אבל אם לא פסק במעמדה אף רבנין מודיי תני אמר ר' יוסי בי ר' יהודה לא נחלק אדמון וחכמים על הפוסק מעות לחתנו ופשט לו את הרגל שלא תהא יושבת עד שילבין את ראשה ועל מה נחלקו על שפסקה לעצמה אדמון אומר יכולה היא שתאמר סבורה הייתי שאבא רוצה ליתן ועכשיו אין אבא רוצה ליתן מה אני יכולה לעשות או כנוס או פטור אמר רבן גמליאל רואה אני את דברי אדמון:

What does the wise son say? "'What are these testimonies, statutes and judgments that the Lord our God commanded us?' (Deuteronomy 20:6)" And accordingly you will say to him, "'With the strength of [His] hand did the Lord take us out from Egypt, from the house of slaves.' (Exodus 13:14)"
