העדים שאמרו כתב ידינו זה אבל אנוסים היינו קטנים היינו פסולי עדות היינו הרי אילו נאמנין אם יש עדים שהוא כתב ידן או שהיה כתב ידן יוצא ממקום אחר אינן נאמנין:

Mishna. How did they bring up the first-fruits? All of the cities which were in the region gathered to the main city of the region and slept in the city square, they did not go into the houses. Early in the morning the appointed official would say “Rise! Let us go up to Zion to the House of the Lord our God!” (comp. Jeremiah 31:5, Mishna Bikkurim 3:2):
