Commentary for Yevamot 73:1

אנוסתו ומפותתו לא יכניס ואם כנס אין מוציאין מידו. אנוסת חבירו ומפותת חבירו לא יכנוס ואם כנס מוציאין מידו. לא ישא את הקטנה אבל נושא את הממאנת. וממאנת לא בקטנה היא ממתינין לה עד שתגדיל. אירס את האלמנה ונתמנה להיות כהן גדול יכניס. ודכוותה אירס את הקטנה ונתמנה להיות כהן גדול יכניס. קורא אני עליה אשה לא קטנה. הערמה עשה שאל פיריו מהו ייתב לאמה בגויה שמעת וקיבלת עליה ותני' יצא שמה בעיר מקודשת הרי זו מקודשת. אף בית שמאי מודה בה. ואף רבי שמעון מודה בה. ולא כרבי לעזר בן ערך דרבי לעזר בן ערך אומר המאמר קונה קניין גמור ביבמה. כהן גדול שמת אחיו חולץ ולא מייבם. הדא מסייעא למאן דאמר חליצה פטור. ברם כמאן דמר חליצה קניין אומר לו עבור על דברי תורה:

R’ Achva bar R’ Zeira said they were occupied with the reading of shema, this is what it says “and you shall speak of them…” (Devarim 6:7) R’ Yodah ben Pazi said they were occupied with the creation of the world, this is what it says “By the word of the Lord, the heavens were made…” (Tehillim 33:6) R’ Yodan b’rei R’ Ibo said they were occupied with the consolation of Jerusalem as it says “…speak to the heart of Jerusalem…” (Yeshayahu 40:2)The Rabbis said that they were occupied with the matter of the chariot, this is what it says “…and behold a fiery chariot and fiery horses…” (Melachim II 2:11)…
