תני בר קפרא עוו פשעו חטאו שלא להזכיר גניין של ישראל יעמד חי מלמד שהוא עתיד למות עד מתי הוא חיה עד וכלה מכפר את הקודש דברי ר' יהודה רש"א עד שעת הוידוי ע"ד דר' יהודה הוידוי מעכב ע"ד דר"ש אין הוידוי מעכב מה נפק מן ביניהון שלחו בלא וידוי ע"ד דר' יהודה צריך להביא שעיר אחד על דעתיה דר"ש אינו צריך להביא שעיר אחד אף בפר כן שחטו בלא וידוי על דעתיה דרבי יהודה צריך להביא פר אחד על דעתיה דר"ש אינו צריך להביא פר אחד נתוודה ושחטו ונשפך הדם ואת אמר צריך להביא פר אחר צריך להתוודות עליו פעם שנייה או כבר יצא בוידוייו של ראשון אף בשעיר המשתלח כן צריך להגריל עליו פעם שנייה או כבר יצא בהגרילו של ראשון:

Upon entering what does he say? May it be the will before you my God and the God of my forefathers that I will not be particular against my peers and my peers shall not be particular against me; that I will not deem the pure "Impure" and not the impure "Pure," nor permit the prohibitted and prohibit the permitted, and find myself embarrassed in this word and in the World to Come.
