א <strong><big>משנה:</big></strong> וְאֵילּוּ מַפְסִיקִין לְפֵיאָה הַנַּחַל וְהַשְּׁלוּלִית וְדֶרֶךְ הַיָּחִיד וְדֶרֶךְ הָרַבִּים וּשְׁבִיל הַיָּחִיד וּשְׁבִיל הָרַבִּים הַקָּבוּעַ בִּימוֹת הַחַמָּה וּבִימוֹת הַגְּשָׁמִים. הַבּוּר וְהַנִּיר וְזֶרַע הַקּוֹצֵר לְשַׁחַת מַפְסִיק דִּבְרֵי רִבִּי מֵאִיר. וַחֲכָמִים אוֹמְרִים אֵינוֹ מַפְסִיק אֶלָּא אִם כֵּן חָרַשׁ.
1 <strong>MISHNAH:</strong> The following separate regarding <i>peah</i>: The river, the water canal, a private road, a public road, a private path or a public path open both summer and winter, a fallow field, a ploughed field and [another kind of] seed. He who cuts for animal feed makes a separation, the words of Rebbi Meïr; but the sages say it does not create a separation unless he ploughed.
