Mishnah for Yoma 1:2

גמרא ר' בא בשם ר' יוחנן שמע לה מן הדא (ויקרא ח׳:ל״ד) כאשר עשה ביום הזה אלו שבעת ימי המילואים צוה ה' לדורות לעשות זה שעיר של יוה"כ או אינו אלא שעיר של ראש חדש אמר רבי בא לכפר עליכם כפרה שהיא כזו מה זו כפרת אהרן עצמו כפרת בנים עצמן אף זו כפרת אהרן עצמו כפרת בנים עצמן ר' יונה בשם בר קפרא שמע לה מן הדא כאשר עשה ביום הזה אלו שבעת ימי המילואים צוה ה' זו שריפת הפרה נאמר כאן צוה ה' ונאמר להלן (במדבר י״ט:ב׳) זאת חקת התורה אשר צוה ה' לאמר לעשות זה שעיר של יום הכפורים או אינו אלא שעיר של ראש חדש כהיא דאמר ר' בא לכפר עליכם כפרה שהיא כזו מה זו כפרה שאינה כשירה אלא בכהן גדול אף זו כפרה שאינה אלא בכהן גדול מה בין כהן השורף את הפרה לכהן גדול ביום הכפורים שזה אפרשתו בטהרה ואין אחיו הכהנים נוגעין בו וזה אפרשתו בקדושה ואחיו הכהנים נוגעין בו על דעתיה דר' יוחנן דו יליף לה מן הדין קרייא שמע לה היא בפרה סילסול היא בפרה ניחא

We recite [in our mishnah] "...from the time that the kohanim (Aaronide priests) enter to eat their Terumah (produce consecrated for priestly consumption)." Rabbi Chiya taught [in Tosefta Berakhot 1:1]: "...from the time that people usually go in to eat their bread on the eve of the Sabbath." And there is a baraita that comments on this: "These opinions are close enough to be equal."

Ten wonders were wrought for our ancestors in the Temple: [1] no woman miscarried from the odor of the sacred flesh; [2] the sacred flesh never became putrid; [3] no fly was ever seen in the slaughterhouse; [4] no emission occurred to the high priest on the Day of Atonement; [5] the rains did not extinguish the fire of the woodpile; [6] the wind did not prevail against the column of smoke; [7] no defect was found in the omer, or in the two loaves, or in the showbread; [8] the people stood pressed together, yet bowed down and had room enough; [9] never did a serpent or a scorpion harm anyone in Jerusalem; [10] and no man said to his fellow: the place is too congested for me to lodge overnight in Jerusalem.
